TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The goods are sold ‘as seen’ or ‘as they lie’.
- The goods shall be open to inspection before any offer to purchase is made and the purchaser shall be deemed to have inspected them and should the purchase be made without previous inspection the Purchaser shall do so at the Purchaser’s own risk.
- Unless specifically agreed or detailed in writing otherwise, any entry or statement of ‘serviceability’ relates solely to that as the goods are issued to MASL, i.e. as given on the Issue Voucher (MoD/RAF) and any overhaul, repair, release or test certificate that may be appropriate to the items, by serial number and relevant date of issue.
- Sample – the sale is not a sale by sample, but if in any case a sample is supplied, it shall not imply a condition, warranty or representation as to the quality of the goods, or as to their freedom from any defect rendering them unmerchantable, or otherwise as respects the goods.
- Any listing shall similarly be treated as a sample, above, and shall not imply any accuracy of the inventory listed.
- There is no warranty given, expressed or implied as to the quality of the items or their suitability or fitness for purpose.
- Subject to prior sale.
- Subject to being unsold.
- Subject to contract.
- Any price(s) quoted shall be valid for 30 days and quoted in pounds sterling (unless otherwise indicated).
- Price quoted includes packaging only as available, seen in (1/2) above, Ex works Wellington.
- Goods will only be released for shipment upon full payment cleared into the MASL Bank Account.
- Collection of goods including all costs is entirely the Purchaser’s responsibility.
- Goods are to be collected within 14 days of payment (see clause 12). Failure to collect within the specified time will incur a storage charge, charged at a rate of £2.50 per sq.ft/week. Unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to contract.
- Purchaser to ensure that all export/import documentation, licence regulations and approvals are complied with.
